Ambassador Committee

The Ambassadors represent the Chamber in welcoming new members and encouraging participation and involvement in the Chamber. They serve as mentors for new Chamber members, encouraging their participation and assisting in networking within the memberships. Meets 1st Wednesday of each month from 9-10 am

Education Committee

Coordinate the Educator of the Year and the Scholarship program. Fosters a partnership between the school district and the Chamber. Chart of Work Establish the process and award FIVE $1,500 scholarships Establish the process and select the Educator of the Year Coordinate Business/Education Partnerships

Government Affairs Committee

To assist and promote business participation in local, county and state government and legislative affairs, as well as promote the interests of the business community in the political process and economic development. Chart of Work Monitor legislative issues at the local, county and state level and communicate to the membership the issues important to the business community. Promote and participate in the Business Day at the Capital. Maintain contact/communication with local, county and state elected officials. Provide a forum for gathering members’ views on governmental issues. Develop priorities for policy positions
